Earl Lehman + Nancy Campbell | Sept. 10 - Dec 5 2019

Earl Lehman’s brushstrokes are lush and visceral. Layer upon layer his landscapes take on shapes and colors that combine abstract with representational, moodiness with vibrancy. Nature seems ablaze in Earl’s paintings, spilling over and morphing, the elements and colors seem to pass with urgency, bursting with expression.

When Nancy Campbell paints the early evening light, as seen in the snowy shadows of Winter Bright, or the stunning color and mysterious transcendence of Evening Light at Taos, the artist conveys a sense of awe that transports us to that precious, fleeting, twilight time.
